Urban Integrated Health Services is a great organization that is very committed to providing quality services to some of our most vulnerable citizens who are significantly impacted by systemic racism and who suffer from the evident inequities in health care. Our commitment is to be part of the solution.
We are working to provide services that are client-focused, community-based, time-unlimited, and delivered by a multidisciplinary team.
We provide innovative and compassionate services to individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues.
We provide comprehensive substance use disorder (SUD) recovery support services to our most vulnerable population who have been struggling with the disease of addiction for a very long time.
The Urban Integrated Day Recovery Center is our outpatient and intensive outpatient SUD treatment program, where we provide SUD and dual diagnosis treatment to our Ward 7 and other District of Columbia residents struggling with alcohol and drug addiction.
Our program treats individuals in a safe environment where we have helped hundreds of clients break free from substance abuse. Our program strongly focuses on dual diagnosis treatment, utilizing trauma-informed principles.
We work closely with the DC Department of Behavioral Health Access and Referral Center (ARC) for all our referrals. We also provide a Supportive Employment Services (SES) Program to ensure holistic care.
